Rode with someone tonight. She liked it so much we just k ept going. For three hours. First time with a pillion for more than twenty minutes, and while my body definitely hurts a bit... This was perfection. It’s nice to find someone who’s enthusiastic about the things you love.

:D Can we play guess the Pillion?
I’m thinking maybe Statue Stephanie, which isn’t bad. Also, do you think she’ll consider getting a bike now? Seems like she enjoyed it!

Lol, I watched that a few days ago. And yes, statue Stef! But she got comfortable and turned into a backpack surprisingly quick
(I love how tiny they made the Multistrada's front wheel here)

Nice! I doubt I’ll ever ride 2 up, my wife is nervous enough about me having a motorcycle, I highly doubt I’d ever get her on one, but maybe someday!
I spent my evening fishing from a kayak with my kid. My wife and two of her siblings came with us on a canoe. She was one a tailspin emotionally due to some complications at her work , she’s losing a employee she really likes, and needed to get out of the house and get distracted. After about an hour on the lake I looked over and saw her smiling. That made my day. Plus It was like 85 today, so leaving work and getting out on the lake for a few hours was also pure bliss.
Oh in other news I should be appearing on Apple Maps street view on my XT some time in the near future. I followed one of their “inconspicuous” white Imprezas for a couple miles the other day.

Sounds awesome, and I’m jealous. My partner said the only way they will ever get on a bike with me is if we’re both already dead and in hell.
A “no” probably would have sufficed. But on the other hand, that would have left a sliver of hope in my mind. So it was probably the right response to make.
